For silent hill 2 on the pc, a gamefaqs answers question titled "pc keyboard controls?".. This game would be completely phenomenol - but with only a keyboard, the controls suck; is there any way to program the keyboard so i don't have to control the character backwards and angled all. 4 honestly, your best bet by far is to simply use a gamepad. the game was designed around it, controls much better with it, and was ported to the pc as a near complete afterthought..

Silent hill has tank controls, which seems to work well with a keyboard. but sure, you should be able to plug in any kind of controller to use it. even if you would have to have it emulate the keyboard controls..
