Best answer: mid-race, or after you've failed (or as i like to put it "practiced"), simply press right on the d-pad and you'll see restart last event as a new option in the list. note - you'll need the latest patch to enable this.. I have burnout ultimate box on my pc and have it configured for my logitech g27 steering wheel but now i cant find the button too open up paradise city live so as to use the restart function.i cant find any mention of it in the controls..grrrr i used to have it working ok.. any help please…. The burnout paradise ultimate box has just been released for pc and its said to include the restart event feature that was missing in the previous console versions..
Burnout paradise may crash on start-up if you have screen recording software running, such as xsplit. this occurs because the game sees the software as a webcam. the easiest way to rectify this issue is: close the screen recording software, load burnout paradise, alt + tab ↹ out, then run the screen recording software.. I know the console versions of burnout paradise added the option to retry a race with the push of a button instead of how it originally was when you had to drive all the way back to the beginning.. When this game first came out, you couldn't restart races from the pause menu; you needed to go all the way back to the street light where the race started..
